Norm was born on February 15, 1937 in Detroit, MI to parents Ora and Reta Moats. Norm graduated from Lincoln High School in Ferndale, MI. Following High School Norm joined the US Army and became a printer which carried into his career after serving.
In his spare time Norm enjoyed fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking and playing video games.
Norm is survived by his wife Christine; children Norm and Ann; grandchildren Alex and Jeff and his sister Patricia (Pam) Portenga.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents Ora and Reta; sister Kimmy; brother Ed Moats.
